DEFINITION: Degree is the adjective of Adjective. It is divided into 3 parts. Namely
Positive Degree
Comparative Degree
Superlative Degree
Positive Degree:
In any sentence, the form of adjective used to mean Noun or pronouns, multiplication, condition, etc. is called Positive Degree.
For example - Mr. Roni is a good man
Comparative Degree:
Generally, the form of adjective that is used to mean the comparison of the two nouns or pronouns like fault, quality, etc., is called Comparative Degree.
Like - Rahim is wiser than Karim
Superlative Degree:
Generally, the expression of the adjective used to mean comparisons between many people is called Superlative Degree.
E.g. - Rony is the best player in the team.
Change of Degrees:
Superlative Degree in Positive Degree
Rule of Transforming Superlative Degree to Positive Degree
Rule 1:
No other + The next part of the given superlative + verb + so / as + Positive form of + Superlative Degree + is the subject of the original sentence.
Superlative: Rony is the youngest player in the team.
Positive: No other player in the team
Superlative: Sima is the best housewife
Positive: No other housewife is as good as Sima
Rule 2:
All other, most other, many other, few others, very few, one of the connected superlative degrees to a positive degree:
At the very first + very next + part of Superlative + the verb of the plural form + so / as + Superlative Degree's Positive form + as + the subject of the original sentence.
Superlative: He is the best player in the team
Positive: Very few players in the team
Superlative: Iron is one of the most useful metals.
Positive: Very few metals are as useful as Iron.
Comparative in positive
Rule 1:
Rules to convert any other / all other comparative degree to a positive degree
No other + any other / all other part + verb + so / as + Positive form of comparative degree + as + subject of given sentence.
Comparative: James is greater than any other boy in the class.
Positive: No other boy in the class is as great as James.
Comparative: Dhaka is larger than all other cities in Bangladesh.
Positive: No other city in Bangladesh is as large as Dhaka.

Rules for Converting Comparative Degree with Than to Positive Degree:
The next part of Than + verb + not + so / as + Positive form of comparative + as + the subject of the given sentence.
Comparative: Rony is bigger than Bony
Positive: Bony is not as big as Rony
Comparative: He is stronger than I.
Positive: I am not as strong as he

Than most other / than few other related rules for converting Comparative Degree to Positive Degree
Very few + most other / few other parts of the + verb's plural form + so / as + positive + Positive form + as + the subject of given sentence.
Comparative: The gold is the most useful than most other metals
Positive: Very few metals are as / so useful as gold.
Comparative: A. K. Fazlul Haque was the greatest other politicians in Bangladesh.
Positive: very few politicians in Bangladesh were as / so great as A. K. Fazlul Haque
Rule 4:
No less / not less ...... ..that the way to convert Comparative Degree into Positive Degree
No less / less instead of sitting in the place and sitting in the place instead of as. There is no change at all.
Comparative: He is not less intelligent than you
Positive: He is as intelligent as you
Comparative: Kripa is not less clever than shipa.
Positive: Kripa is as clever as shipa.
Rule 5:
No sooner had ... .that the way to convert Comparative Degree into Positive Degree
Instead of as soon as + the subject + verb, instead of the previous form + than the previous part + than the comma rather than the rest.
Comparative: No sooner had he seen me than he ran away
Positive: As soon as he saw me, he ran away
